Campus Compact’s National Webinar Series is announced each fall and provides additional support and inspiration. Topics touch on issues of relevance to faculty, staff, students, and their partners in education and community building. Be sure to join any webinar session that may be of interest to you. New Resource for Students!
The CCE recently added a new resource that contains helpful information for students interested in deepening their understanding of societal issues, developing civic knowledge, and expanding their capacity to be active members of their community. This guide provides a list of resources to support community-engaged learning, service-learning, civic engagement, and opportunities for leadership development. The CCE library is located in South Wing 130. Faculty members are invited to check out books that may be useful to them as they incorporate service-learning into their courses. We are in the process of transferring our collection to the Butler Library.

Teaching and Learning Center
The Teaching and Learning Center is dedicated to helping faculty discover resources to promote effective student learning, as well as promote their own learning in the form of scholarship and creative activities. The center was formed in August 2018 as part of a campus-wide reorganization. In particular, the center brought together the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Program with Faculty Development.
Black Lives Matter LibGuide resources are available through the Butler Library to help you facilitate discussions about equity, inclusion, and social justice in your community-engaged courses.
The Anti-Racist Resource Guide was created to be used as a resource for anyone looking to broaden their understanding of anti-racism and get involved to combat racism, specifically as it relates to anti-Blackness and police violence. Within this guide, please find a variety of resources to explore practical ways to understand, explain, and solve seemingly intractable problems of racial inequity, white supremacy, police violence, and injustice.
The Principles for Anti-Racist Community Engagement was developed by faculty from four Massachusetts public universities as part of a project, “Building on the Cultural Wealth of Minoritized Students: Anti-racist Community-Engaged Programming, Pedagogies, and Practices,” funded by a grant from the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education.
Drawing on the literature on anti-racist and community-engaged pedagogy and on input from students of color and community partners at each of the four campuses, this statement is designed to serve as a resource for community-engaged faculty adopting anti-racist pedagogy and practices.
Showing Up for Justice is working towards a world where every community has what they need to not just to survive, but to thrive. SUFJ believes we get there by working together and following the leadership of communities that directly experience racism and economic injustices. SUFJ also believes white people have an important role to play.
